Ronald Joseph Fontenot's Obituary
Ronald Joseph Fontenot, age 76, of West Fork, Arkansas joined his loved ones in heaven on Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born November 23, 1944 in Maurepas, Louisiana to Eugene and Mary Cecelia Picou Fontenot. He faithfully served in the U.S. Navy for 28 years traveling the world before he retired.
He is survived by his wife JoAnn; and his family that consisted of six daughters, Michelle Fontenot of Europe, Kristie Fontenot and her husband Brandon Cummings of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Jonisa Isola and her husband Brent of Wolf Lake, Minnesota, Jennifer Bryant and her husband Billy of Greenland, Arkansas, Jessica Palmer and her partner Holly Shepherd of Mountainburg, Arkansas, and Madison Fontenot of Conway, Arkansas; three sons, Richard Devick and his wife Laura of Iowa, Robin Devick and his wife Christy of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Joshua Palmer of Menahga, Minnesota; one brother, Keith Fontenot; and several nieces and nephews, many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. He was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his 3 brothers Mikey, Bobby, Billy and his granddaughter Leigha.
Funeral service will be 12:30 pm Tuesday January 12, 2021 at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in the Fayetteville National Cemetery
