Ronald Oscar Fowler's Obituary
Ronald Oscar Fowler, age 77, of Fayetteville passed away Wednesday August 24, 2022. He was born on October 25, 1944, in Blytheville, Arkansas to Cecil and Eunice (Crawford) Fowler. He is a member of Central United Methodist Church. Ronald was an alumnus of The University of Arkansas and would later return to be employed in the Computing Services Department.
Ronald was a proud US Army Veteran, serving his country during the Vietnam War. He was a lover of running, biking, gardening, animals, and youth sports where he touched the lives of many through his coaching.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Kay Fowler; two daughters, Lisa Fowler of Fayetteville and Shelley Fowler (Colin Kerr) of Fayetteville; one son, Kevin Fowler and his wife Katy of Fayetteville; his sister, Pam Lane of Blytheville, Arkansas and four grandchildren, Eva, Noah, Dawson and Riley Fowler.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Monday, August 29, 2022 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be at 11:30 am Tuesday at Central United Methodist Church with burial to follow at National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
