Ronald Lee Hutchens' Obituary
Ronald Lee Hutchens, of Fayetteville, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 83 years old. He was born on November 6, 1941, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, to Veryl Boise and Helen (Hooker) Hutchens. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 54 years Una Raye Hutchens, and his brother H.B. Hutchens.
Ronald was born, raised, and confirmed in the Methodist faith. He worked 30 years as a baker at Shipley Baking Co. in Fayetteville. When the bakery shut down, he and his wife Una started their own lawncare business, and he continued to mow lawns until shortly before his passing. He was a hardworking man who was always ready with a helping hand and a warm smile. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronald is survived by his daughter Liz Hutchens; brother Roger Hutchens & Doris; many nephews; several very special friends; his precious dog Tommy; and many other friends and loved ones.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
