Ronald Lee Brawner's Obituary
Mr. Ronald Lee Brawner, 71, of Fayetteville, AR passed away February 8th, 2015, in Fayetteville. He was born September 24, 1943, in Pollard, Arkansas to Claude and Edith Brawner.
After graduating from the University of Arkansas in Monticello, AR, he began a teaching career that spanned more than 40 years. He taught and coached football in Risco, MO, Pocahonts, AR and Warren, AR. He obtained his Masters of Education from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR in 1988 and he retired from the position of Superintendant of Greenland Public Schools.
He is survived by two daughters; Martha Brawner of Colorado Springs, CO and Misty Brawner of Columbia, MO; brother, Robert Brawner of Flint, MI; sister, Bonita Johnston of Jonesboro, AR and one grandson, Cody of Colorado Springs, CO.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8PM on Tuesday at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville with Lester Shadrick officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Garden in Fayetteville.
