Ronald Luney's Obituary
Ronald E. Luney, 62, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away, Friday, October 31, 2008 in Springdale. He was born November 25, 1945 in Cassville, Missouri. The son of Amos and Margaret Osburn Luney. He was a Viet Nam Veteran of the United States Army, a Truck Driver for Tyson’s, a 32nd degree Masion of the Scottish Rite Of Freemasonry, American Legion Post 139 of Springdale, Arkansas, Masonic Lodge #316 of Springdale, Arkansas and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father and a step-daughter; Tonya Sharp. He is survived by; his wife; Mary Luney of the home, his mother; Margaret Luney of Cassville, Missouri, two brothers; Robert Luney of Iowa Park, Texas, Joe Luney of Cassville, Missouri, two sisters; Nancy May of Exeter, Missouri and Alice McNabb of Exeter, Missouri. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, with Rev. Milford Baker and Mr. Charlie Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Alabam Cemetery near Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Jim Gabel, Rodney Springston, David Bass, Jim O’Neill, Gene Kincy and Richard Reese. Visitation will be 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM, Monday, November 3, 2008 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Circle of Life Hospice, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
