Ronnie Warren Stone's Obituary
Ronnie Warren Stone, known to many as Ron, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 90.
He was born on June 9, 1935, to his parents Loyd and Grace Carney Stone in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, where he also graduated from Prairie Grove High School. Ron later became the owner of IGA Grocery Store where he proudly served his community for many years.
Ron and his wife Barbara, who survives him, built a life together centered on family, faith, and service.
He was active in his community, volunteering with Benton County Habitat for Humanity, the Benton County Women’s Shelter Thrift Store, and as a member of Central United Methodist Church in Rogers. He especially cherished time spent with his family and friends.
Ron loved to restore vintage wind-up clocks. He is remembered for his kind spirit, dedication to family, love of community, sense of humor, and his love for baseball.
Ron is survived by his four children: Sandra Stone Kimbrough (Jake) of Skiatook, OK; Tracy Meyer (Chris Ruyle) of Pacific, MO; Tania Walls (Steve) of Bentonville, AR; and Randall Roberts (Terri) of Springdale, AR, his 7 grandchildren: Shelby Kimbrough (Dan Bruce) of Chicago, IL; Robin Wessels (Jeff) of St. Petersburg, FL; Bree Meyer of St. Louis, MO; Denise Henningsen (Jordan) of Rogers, AR; Daniel Kordis (Bridgette) of Joplin, MO; Jake Roberts of Bentonville, AR; Benjamin Roberts of Knoxville, TN, his 2 great grandchildren and one niece and one nephew.
Ron is preceded in death by his parents Loyd and Grace Stone; his brother Donnie Stone and his granddaughter Haley Meyer.
Services will be held Monday, October 6th at 11:00 am at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers.
