Rowlanda June Palermo's Obituary
Rowlanda June Palermo, 70 of Fayetteville died Monday, March 3, 2014 in Springdale. She was born August 1, 1943 in Winfield, Kansas the daughter of Roland McKee and June Guthrie McKee.
She married John Palermo on August 8, 1959 in Tulsa, OK. She was a member of Zion Church; where, she was also a member of the Red Hatters and Ladies group.
She was employed for several years with Fayetteville Public Schools in the food service department and was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Hickey.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, John Palermo of the home, 3 daughters, Dana Taylor and her husband, James of Hogeye, AR, Connie Fashank and her husband, Larry of Fayetteville, Alesha Crouch and her husband, Scott of Farmington; sister, Patricia Stroessner of Puyallup, Washington; 4 granddaughters, Haley, Jasmine, Mandi, Tarin and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held, 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Zion Church, 4984 Wedington, Fayetteville, AR 72704 in Fayetteville.
Nelson-Berna Funeral Home handled the cremation arrangements.
