Roxie Marie Johnson's Obituary
Roxie Marie Miller-Johnson, age 61, of Springdale, died Monday, January 13, 2014 in Fayetteville. She was born July 17, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wallace and JoAnn Becker Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tracy Annette Miller, a brother-in-law, James Preston and a sister-in-law, Karen Reed.
She was a homemaker and was a sales representative for Avon and Tupperware for years. She worked at Target in Fayetteville for several years. She was the first Girl Scout troop leader in West Fork and was a member of Winslow First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Phillip Johnson; a daughter, Brandie Doerr of Lowell; two sons, Shannon Miller and Jack Miller both of Sunset; two step-sons, Mark and Jeff Johnson; a sister, DiAnna Preston of Winslow; a brother, Wallace Ted Reed of Sheridan, Arkansas; thirteen grandchildren, Bonnie Doerr, Colton Doerr, Alexis Doerr, Justin Miller, Naconna Miller, Dakotah Ponder, Hannah Carter, Blake Miller, Lacy Miller, Kyleigh Cook, Cody Caudle, J. J. Miller and Joshua Miller; eleven step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, Brighton Marshall, Karder Caudle and Kollin Caudle and two step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday at Winslow First Baptist Church and burial will be in Parks Cemetery at Winslow, under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
