Ruby Jean Clayton's Obituary
Ruby Jean Clayton, age 91, of West Fork, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in Fayetteville. She was born July 21, 1931, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Floyd and Edna Vaughn Wooten. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reverend John Clayton; son, David Clayton; two sisters, Willdean Freitas and Dorothy Burris; two brothers, Boyd Wooten and Donal Wooten.
She is survived by two daughters, Johnnie Gail Fortenberry and her husband Charles of West Fork, Arkansas; Linda Nelson and her husband Mike of West Fork, Arkansas; one son, Mike Clayton and his wife Lisa of West Fork; eight grandchildren, Chuck Fortenberry, Crista White (Cecil), Shannon Fortenberry, John Paul Nelson (Maryann), Kevin Lambindonis (Shelby), Davy Clayton (Vivian), Dustin Clayton and Dylan Clayton (Corrisa); twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Moore’s Chapel with burial to follow in West Fork Cemetery.
