Ruby Darlene Lisle's Obituary
Ruby Darlene Lisle, 76, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025. Born in Arizona on October 10, 1948, Ruby was a devoted mother, grandmother, teacher, and woman of deep faith.
She worked as a math teacher and accountant, but her true passion was nurturing children and sharing knowledge. A creative spirit, she was known for her beautiful crochet, knitting, and cross-stitch work. Ruby loved reading and watching detective shows.
She is survived by her nine children, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many close friends, including a lifelong circle of girlfriends with whom she shared cherished yearly traditions.
Ruby's faith was central to her life, and she drew strength from her favorite scripture:
“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength… they shall mount up with wings as eagles.” —Isaiah 40:31
A memorial service will be held at West Ridge Free Will Baptist Church, Fayetteville, Arkansas at 3:00 pm on May 18, 2025.
