Rubye S. Robards' Obituary
Rubye S. Robards, 88 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in Fayetteville, AR. She was born September 23, 1922 in Vineyard, Arkansas to William D. Stiles and Nell Elizabeth (Perkins) Stiles.
She was a retired nurse having finished her thirty year career as a school health nurse in the Marianna, Arkansas Public School System. She was a member of the Red Cross and Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville where she was a member of the United Methodist Women.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Elliott Robards and nine brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one daughter; Sandra Cordrey and husband Sam of Fayetteville, AR, one son; Mike Robards and wife Charlotte of Goshen, AR, five grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 16, 2011 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Gibson officiating. Private burial will be held at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the entire staff of North Hills Life Care and Rehabilitation. In lieu of flowers the family wishes any memorial contribution be made to the North Hills Activity Fund in memory of Rubye Robards 27 East Appelby Road Fayetteville, Arkansas 72703.
