Ruff Gentry's Obituary
Mr. Ruff Gentry, 89 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Monday, November 13, 2006 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born September 11, 1917 in Higden, AR to George "Dink" Gentry and Maggie (Metlock) Gentry.
He was a retired Agronomy Professor having traveled the world teaching, a member of Alpha Zeta Fraternity, attended Elm Springs United Methodist Church in Elm Springs, AR, an a World War II Army veteran.
His wife Maxine Gentry and several nieces and nephews survive him.
Visitation will be held at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home Chapel from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Thursday November 16, 2006 with the Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with Chaplain J.W. Walker and Reverend Wayne Danner officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Springs Cemetery in Elm Springs, AR.
