Ruth A. Lee's Obituary
Ruth A. Lee age 94, of Fayetteville, Arkansas died Saturday June 8, 2013 in Fayetteville. She was born May 2, 1919 in Des Moines, Iowa to George and Dora Lowe Little. She was a bookkeeper in the early forties at Schoeders, and was a member of Westminster United Presbyterian Church and later Saint John’s Lutheran Church while living in Des Moines. She was united in marriage to Oliver T. Lee who preceded her in death. She moved to Kirksville, Missouri in 1992 to be near her daughter and her family. In 1997 she moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas with her family where she made her home. Ruth was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Kristoffersen and her husband Tom of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one son, James Lee and his wife Anita of Des Moines, Iowa; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Private family service and burial of ashes will be at McLaren’s Chapel at Resthaven Cemetery in Des Moines, Iowa at a later date.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
