Ruth A. Wright's Obituary
Ruth A. Wright, 87 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010 in Fayetteville. She was born July 29, 1922 in Indiahoma, OK to LeGrande Wright and Altha Belle (Brenton) Wright.
She was a farmer and black angus cattle rancher, U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of The American Legion, and attended Harris Baptist Church in Elkins.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters and her lifelong friend Marian Jamieson.
She is survived by her sister Laura Thompson of Webb City, MO, and over 150 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Bruce Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
