I always loved to visit with Ruth at choir at Central. I knew she loved nursing but had no idea she was a basketball player. She was a lovely lady.

I worked with Ruth many years ago at WRMC. She was truly a beautiful person inside and out. Heaven has gained a true angel. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but also leaves memories no one can steal! May happy memories help you through this difficult time. Mary Paxson
Working with Ruth at FDC was a joy. She was the sweetest, kindest person. Her patients, doctors, and fellow employees all loved her. She always went far above and beyond but would never take the credit. Ruth’s contributions to the annual Thanksgiving dinner we’re always looked forward to. I’m positive Ruth is taking care of the angels in heaven while holding hands with John.
Ruth helped me so much when I first started working at WRMC. Such a kind person!
Dear Family Members,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. I truly admired and respected Ruth for the dedication and love she had for her family and nursing career. She was a beautiful, virtuous woman who touched others with her warm smile, compassionate hands, and excellent nursing skills. Years ago, when I worked with Ruth at WRMC, I told her that she was one of those nurses who had invisible wings. I believe she now has her visible wings, and heaven is blessed because she is there.
