Hi Nancy, I have been on vac. and just rec'd the info re' your Mom. I am so sorry. I'm sure you took great care of her!! It is difficult to lose one's Mom; however, she will walk beside you!! Aunt Ruth & Uncle Wayne have, and will always be two of the most loving, wonderful persons put on this earth. Although we all miss them greatly, again they are once together.. God Bless
Ruth also had a sister Georlene (adkins) Denham, of Belleville, Illinois and 2 neices Gloria Selvey, Cheryl Henry and a nephew Brad Selvey also of Belleville, Illinois. Seems we were very close as kids, we've been forgotten by Ruth "Poof" and uncle Wayne for over 15 years now. I gave "Poof" that name. Even tho they chose to forget about us, we appreciate a friend from Toledo letting us know about her passing. We surely didn't hear a word from our cousins. We will pray and remember her for the aunt she was.

Just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you today. Your Mom was a sweetheart...I am glad I knew her, though I hadn't seen her in many years. She was always glad to see you and always made you feel at ease.
It is difficult losing your mother she is the one person who knew your whole history, knew your joys, knew your frustrations, really knew what made you tick.
My mother died last June and I still think of her often, wondering what she might think of this or that event. I think she will always be in my head and my heart. I pray you have peace. Love, Sallie

Wayne was our milk man.
He and Ruth opened the Dairy Bar at South &Wayne st
in Toledo in the late 1940's
South end kids all visited and we all liked them both.
