Ruth Tate Hill's Obituary
Ruth Tate Hill, 79, of Fayetteville passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Culpepper Place Assisted Living. She was born May 13, 1933 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to Milton and Mary Tharp Tate.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Joe “Joey” Hill, Jr., one brother, Ray Tate, three sisters, Evelyn Tate, Lenora Burris, and Louise Townes.
She is survived by a son, Mike Hill and wife Jeanie of Fayetteville, a daughter, Pam Crafton of Slayden, Mississippi; two brothers, Dwain Tate of Garfield, AR, Johnnie Tate of Fayetteville, two sisters, Augusta Barley of Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia and Nita Faye Wills of Fayetteville, as well as, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be, 10AM, Thursday at Moore’s Chapel, with Chaplain Chuck Bengtson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
