Ryan Charles Malone's Obituary
Ryan Charles Malone, age 32, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away on August 26, 2023, in Joplin, Missouri. He was born on October 8, 1990, in Springdale, Arkansas. Ryan graduated from Prairie Grove High School in 2009. He married Carina Garrett on December 3, 2021, in St. Lucia.
It is hard to summarize an individual who packed so much living into such a limited life. A fearless entrepreneur, Ryan created a life for himself through sheer drive and determination, solid work ethic and a willingness to take on risk and did so at an impressively young age. From humble beginnings owning a body piercing kiosk in the mall, Ryan never shied away from opportunity, ultimately creating a diverse portfolio of businesses: EVM Jewelers, MopedU, Estate Buyers, several storage unit facilities across Northwest Arkansas, and various other enterprises throughout his entrepreneurial career. Ryan worked hard for everything he had, a self-made man who knew the importance of relationships, and with that found success in far more than just his professional life.
Ryan had a huge smile that would enlighten a room and brighten a day, one that was only outdone by the size of his heart. He never met a stranger, and every person he met was instantly a friend, and friends, he had many. He listened intently, cared deeply, and always provided encouragement. He truly was a bright spot in the lives of those fortunate enough to be a part of his life. There are few people in the world as authentic and genuine as Ryan, a man who wore his heart on his sleeve and always greeted you with a smile. He loved his friends like family, always made time for those he cared about and was a reliable foundation for any who needed it of him. His generosity also showed in the many philanthropic endeavors he supported, whether through generous donations or by offering his time, he rarely said no when there was an opportunity to help.
Ryan had an undeniable taste for adventure, plainly exhibited in his life outside of his career. He loved to travel, often with groups of friends to idyllic locations across the world, always enjoying the many different experiences each location had to offer. There was next to nothing that Ryan wasn’t willing to try, ranging from acrobatic flying, lionfish hunting while scuba diving, wake surfing in the Caribbean, snow skiing and a multitude of other adrenaline inducing activities, always with a smile and ton of enthusiasm. Ryan loved his cars; whether high-end exotics, or home-built mud trucks, if it had an engine, Ryan was interested. He enjoyed the many friends and connections he made in the rally community, and loved to participate in the fundraising drives that often accompanied them.
More than anything, Ryan loved his wife, Carina, who has always been his Princess. Their marriage exhibited amazing qualities of balance, care and consideration, and the love they held for each other was apparent to all those around them. Their commitment to each other and each other’s happiness was beautiful to see in their everyday lives and their love provided inspiration to those fortunate enough to be close to them. Carina helped Ryan become the fantastic man that he is, and their love will be enduring.
He is survived by his wife, Carina; mother, Pam Malone of Prairie Grove; brother, Adam Malone and wife Stephanie of Fort Smith; and an immense network of friends, colleagues and acquaintances that Ryan regarded as family.
