She was the sweetest person ever. I met her on the first Sunday I attended church in Farmington. She was always a very happy person. When she wasn't at church she was greatly missed. You have left a hole in my heart my friend.

I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Van Horn's passing. I speak of her fairly often when talking to high school students where I work. She is the one who taught me how to study when I was in college, which made such a big difference in my life. I have used the method she taught me to become a better employee, too. It has served me well and I have shared it with many students - always telling them that Johnny Van Horn's mother taught me this! She was a very lovely lady. I was able to see her about ten or so years ago and tell her how much her advice to me had meant. I hope she realized what an impact it had. The family is in my prayers. Rest in peace, Mrs. Van Horn.

It is with great sadness of the loss of my dear friend Sara. We had such a wonderful time in Harrison playing golf and bridge. I'm so happy I had a chance to visit her after Carl and I move to Virginia Beach. John and Sara had a visit with us in Virginia Beach. They were both beautiful friends and wonderful people. My thoughts and Prayers are with the family.

Sara became my friend when I moved here two years ago. She had a sunny disposition and great sense of humor that we all enjoyed. Count us among those who will miss her.

Dan, John, Sally and Clay - Remembering your sweet mother who was a friend to many. She lived life with joy and kindness and raised a wonderful family who she was so proud of. Hopefully even in these unusual times you will feel your friends love and sympathies.
--- When Tomorrow Starts Without Me ---
When tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand. That an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand. The angel said my place was ready. In Heaven far above. And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But when I walked through Heaven's Gates, I felt so much at home, for God looked down, smiled at me, And told me "Welcome Home". So when tomorrow starts without me, Don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, I'm right there in your heart.

We are deeply saddened to hear of your Mothers passing. We are honored to call her a friend. What a joy to sit behind her on Sunday’s and watch her worship with her family. You could see the love that was shared between Sara and her family. We always looked forward to our hug or handshake. She was a beautiful soul and always had a smile on her face. She will be missed dearly. Sally, Dan and family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
We love your family.
We will forever miss the wonderful smile of Mrs Sara and her genuine love for God, her family and humankind. May God comfort Sally, Zach, Sara, Dan and the rest of her family. The world is a lesser place without Sara Van Horn and heaven became better.
We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Sara. She was always so sweet, kind, smiling, and full of life. We loved seeing all the recent pictures of the family from her 90th birthday. What a celebration and a great memory. What a blessing she was and such a wonderful family. Prayers and love Jim and Paula (Tibbels) Parker
