Life Legacy
Sarah Franklin Walls, age 84, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born on January 16, 1934, in Springdale, Arkansas, to John Franklin and Emogene Speck Vaughn. She is preceded in death by the father of her children, William Armour Groves; her husband, August “Jack” Walls; and her brother, Jack Vaughn. Sarah was a hard worker and spent thirty years of her career at Harmon Refrigeration. She then spent ten years as a cashier at Harps Food Stores. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her five children, Charles Groves and wife Margaret of Saraland, Alabama, Cynthia Patterson and husband Steve of Atlanta, Georgia, William Groves and wife Sherry of Texas, John Groves and wife Mary Nell of Springdale, Arkansas, and Larry Groves and wife Sharon of Wooster, Ohio; her brother, Doyle Vaughn of Nashville, Tennessee; her sister, Virginia Harmon of Springdale, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, February 12, 2018, at Morriss Cemetery in Hindsville, Arkansas.
