Savannah Elise Dutton's Obituary
Angels escorted Savannah Elise Dutton into the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday morning, January 24, 2012. Savannah, 22, battled melanoma cancer for three years before she was called to her eternal home.
She was born November 16, 1989 to Danny and Patti Dutton. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, James Clifford Dutton and Goldie Oleta Dutton and an uncle, Joe Salsbury.
She was a member of Sang Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her parents, Danny and Patti Dutton of Greenland, AR; a sister, Shelby Dutton, 17, of the home; a brother, Bo Dutton, 24, of Nashville, TN; maternal grandparents, Ervin and Daisy Potter of Greenland, AR; three uncles, Jeffrey Potter and his wife Donna of Middleburg, VA, Jim Dutton and wife Kathy of Goshen, AR and Jerry Dutton of Springdale, AR; one aunt, Shirley Salsbury of Goshen, AR; three great aunts, two great uncles, a large number of cousins and innumerable friends.
Savannah lived her life with joy no matter her circumstances and always met everyone with a radiant, contagious smile. She had an incredible gift to see glory in everyday scenes and situations that manifested itself in wonderful artistic ability. Her song here may have ended, but her melody lingers on in our hearts and on our lips.
As sweet, loving, compassionate and gentle of a girl as this world has known, Heaven gained a beautiful soul in Savannah Elise.
