Serafino 'Sam' Guido's Obituary
Serafino “Sam” Guido, age 92 of Fayetteville died Saturday December 15, 2012 in Bella Vista. He was born July 24, 1920 in San Fili Cosenza, Italy to Pasquale and Marietta Guido. He was a Catholic and was retired from the United States Marine Corp serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Bertie Bray Guido in 1974 his sister Helen and two brothers, Army and Frank.
He is survived by his daughter, Dolores Snider and her husband Randy of Victoria, Texas; one son, Joseph S. Guido and his wife Janet of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his brother, Patsy Guido of Rye, New York; six grandchildren, J.P. Guido, Lauren Guido, Mike Snider, JoAnna Bruce and her husband Andy, Lori Snider, Greg Snider and his wife Jessica; three great grandchildren and a special friend, Gloria Bucci of Brewster, New York.
Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday December 19, 2012 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel in Fayetteville.
