I joined the Entomology Department in 1990 and Seth was one of my favorite people in the Department. He had a quiet dignity about him and was always a gentleman. I certainly owe part of my early career progress towards tenure to him. I collaborated more with Seth than anyone in the Department and he set a great example of being a very generous collaborator.
