Sharon Gwendoline Botha's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sad loss of our beloved wife and mother, Sharon Gwendoline Botha, on June 30, 2023. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Sharon, daughter of Fred and Val Painter, was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, on January 19, 1959. She was a pillar of strength and a source of unwavering love for our family. Though our hearts ache with her absence, we find solace in knowing that her legacy will continue to live on through the lives she touched.
Sharon was an exceptional woman whose selflessness and care were the foundation of our family's happiness. As a mother, she possessed an extraordinary strength that carried us through life's challenges and taught us the importance of resilience and determination. Her unwavering faith in our abilities gave us the courage to pursue our dreams and believe in ourselves. She was our rock in times of uncertainty.
Beyond her role as a wife and say mother, Sharon touched the lives of countless others. Her caring nature extended far beyond her immediate family to anyone in need. Her acts of kindness, both big and small, were a testament to her compassionate soul.
Sharon was an advocate of enjoying a life full of celebrations and friends. She balanced her business endeavors with her passion for pickleball, golf and bridge. In her youth, she was also an accomplished tennis player.
We will forever cherish the memories we shared. As we mourn her loss, we take comfort in knowing that her spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
Sharon leaves behind a devoted husband (Conrad Botha), children (Dylan, Ryan, Hayley and Jessica), and a multitude of family members and friends who were touched by her love and kindness.
Rest in eternal peace, mom. Your love will forever guide us, and your memory will forever be cherished.
