Sharon Elaine Owens' Obituary
Sharon Merry Owens, 70 of Lowell, AR, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 in the Walnut Grove Nursing Home in Springdale, AR. She was born October 6th, 1944 in Miami, FL, to Ted and Thelma Merry.
She was a graduate of The Salvation Army Officers School of Training in Atlanta, GA, session of 1962-1965.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years Jack Owens of Lowell, AR, four sisters, Kathy Lawless of Ann arbor, MI, Donna Hampton of Lutz, FL, Teddy Hampton of Jacksonville, FL, Beth Bongart of Lawrenceville, GA, daughter, Lynn of Lowell, AR, son, Ted of Reno, NV, grandson, Brandon of Lowell, AR, granddaughter, Breanna of Lowell, AR, and five great grand children.
She was the hands and feet of God, through The Salvation Army as an minister for 40 years and lived and served in eight different states. She was a good and faithful servant of the Lord.
The family will receive friends from 1:00PM till service time at 2:00PM on Tuesday.
Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
