Shirley Jean Jones' Obituary
Shirley J. Jones, 70 of Springdale died Friday, April 13, 2012 at her home. She was born December 8, 1941 the daughter of Willard Perse and Callie Sims Perse.
She married Howard Jones on September 2, 1961 in Springdale. She was a member of Sonora Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Joe and Terry Perse and a sister, Mary Sue Rogers.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Howard Jones of the home; 3 daughters, Debra McGee of Springdale, Denise Goodman of Warren, RI., Dana Jones of Springdale; 4 grandchildren, Rae-Ann Browers, Stephanie Goodman, Jennifer Goodman and Lenzie McGee; 2 sisters, Sharon Gooding of Farmington, Betty Stufflebean of Fayetteville; brother, Jeff Perse of Benton, AR.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7PM on Wednesday at Moore’s Chapel.
Funeral service will be10:00AM, Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Sonora Baptist Church with Reverend Danny Williams officiating. Burial will be in Upper Clifty Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
