Shirley June Furlan's Obituary
Shirley June Furlan, age 82, of Fayetteville, died Wednesday, October 18, 2017. She was born January 29, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Purl and Zelma Bird Thornton. She graduated from the University of Arkansas. She was a head of the Veterans Affairs in Washington County. Lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary since 1978. From 1960 -1963 she was an aid to the US Embassy in Africa. She is survived by her husband, Bob Furlan Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Moore’s Chapel and no services are scheduled.
