Shirley Neal's Obituary
Shirley Neal, age 76, of Farmington, died Saturday, December 1, 2012 in Fayetteville.
She was born June 27, 1936 in Midland, Texas, the daughter of William Bryan and Mildred Annette Ponder Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Harold Johnson.
Shirley was a registered nurse and was well known throughout the medical community in Fayetteville as a dedicated caregiver. Shirley was a member of First Baptist Church in Fayetteville and sang in the Sanctuary Choir.
She is survived by her husband Alvin, two daughters: Margie Keyes and her husband Rick of Winslow, and Kathy Neal of West Fork; one son, David Neal of Goshen; one sister Sallye Martin and husband Joe of Fayetteville; three brothers: Lewis Johnson and wife Christine of Fayetteville; Fred Johnson and wife Marianne of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and Russell Johnson of Ozark, Arkansas; six grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Moore’s Funeral Chapel in Fayetteville.
