Sidney Thomas Rieff's Obituary
Sidney Thomas Rieff Jr., age 90, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday July 10, 2011 in Fayetteville. He was born in Fayetteville on May 22, 1921 to Sidney Thomas Rieff Sr. and Martha Jane Jackson Rieff. He was a Methodist, was a dairy farmer, hatchery manager and retired from EPC of Arkansas. Our beloved dad and best friend always had time for family and friends. His favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting and Sunday drives.
He is survived by two daughters, Bobette Risk of Fayetteville, Martha Sue Wilson of Fayetteville, three sons, Sidney Thomas Rieff III and his wife Becky of Springdale, AR; James Franklin Rieff and his wife Laura of Fayetteville, Marshall Lynn Rieff and his wife Carolyn of Fayetteville, AR; eight grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday July 12, 2011 at Moore’s Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at Moore’s Chapel with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Fayetteville under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Sidney Rieff III, Frank Rieff, Marshall Rieff, Marc Wilson, James Rieff and Logan Risk. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Wilson, Joe Crouch, Tom Howard, Lloyd Warren, Dave Kelsey, Bill Jackson, Glenn Parson, Jim Boyd and Harry Jackson Jr.
