Sommay Chaisouang, 74 of Springdale, AR passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 in Springdale, AR. He was born February 5, 1940 in Mukdahan, Thailand to Sang Chaisouang and Thoe Thongpouah. He was a farmer.
He is survived two sons; Max Kongmany of Springdale, AR, Ong Chaisouang of Jacksonville, AR, four daughters; Emily Saravane, Malissa Norsavanh, Taylor Selby all of Springdale, AR, Boupha Wills of Aiea, Hawaii, two sisters, and two brothers in Thailand.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Thursday, March 13th and Friday March 14th at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 15th and Elmdale Baptist Church in Springdale with Reverend Aaron Phangnivong officiating.
