Biography
Stanley Irvin Mattox, age 63, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Springdale. He was born November 27, 1951 in Parsons, Kansas, the son of Bobbie Joe and Joan Marshall Mattox.
He was a truck driver for Walmart Transportation and a member of Christian Life Cathedral in Fayetteville.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Fredericks Mattox; three daughters, Whitnee Humphrey and her husband Jim of Hot Springs, Kimberly Conley and her husband Joe of Fayetteville and Kelsey Schratz and her husband Quinn of Fayetteville; four sons, Mike Mattox and his wife Melissa of Copan, Oklahoma and Jason Faulkner and his wife Stephanie of Marble Falls, Texas, Jesse Fredericks and his wife Julie of Seattle, Washington and Jared Fredericks of Fayetteville; his mother, Joan Queen (Jerry) of Corpus Christi, Texas; Mom #2, Barbara Mattox of Mound Valley, Kansas; four sisters, Mary Jo O’Malley of Owasso, Oklahoma, Beth Ann Pittman of Odom, Texas, Carla Barr of Emporia, Kansas and Connie Gannon of Mansfield, Louisiana; three brothers, Chris Mattox and Corey Mattox, both of Mound Valley, Kansas and Craig Berkenmeier of Lafayette, Louisiana and thirteen grandchildren.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014 at Moore’s Chapel followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. at Moore’s Chapel.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday at Mound Valley Cemetery in Mound Valley, Kansas.
