Stanley Odell Wilson's Obituary
Stanley Odell Wilson, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born on December 16, 1955, in Fayetteville, Arkansas, to Edwin and Hazel (Jarnagan) Wilson. Stanley lived his entire life in Hazel Valley, Arkansas.
Stanley was a member and deacon at Harris Baptist Church in Elkins where he also taught Sunday school. He loved farming and horseback riding. Most of all he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved his family very much.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Prelletz Wilson of the home; his two children, Aaron Wilson of Fayetteville and Jennifer Buchwalter and husband Jeff of Springdale; one brother, C.H. Wilson of Huntsville; two sisters, Regina Arnold and Aleta Gray both of Fayetteville; and six grandchildren, Broden Wilson, Bryce Buchwalter, Ethan Wilson, Madison Buchwalter, Emma Wilson and Abbigail Buchwalter.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00pm on Friday, December 4, 2020, at Harris Baptist Church in Elkins. A private family funeral will be held on Saturday and can be viewed live at 2:00pm on facebook.com/harrisbaptistchurch. A private interment will take place at Nickell Cemetery in Durham.
