Stephen Charles Phillips' Obituary
Stephen Charles Phillips, 64, of Fayetteville, died Friday, March 22, 2013 in Fayetteville. He was born June 29, 1948 in LaJunta, Colorado, the son of Charles Ray and Juanita Maurine Davenport Phillips.
He was a pressman for Just-Us Printers and a caregiver for a foster home. He played guitar and enjoyed old westerns. He loved his family and kids. He loved the Lord and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayetteville.
He is survived by his wife, Kay Phillips; Marilyn Phillips, mother of his three children; two daughters, Carolanna “Susie” Palmer and her husband Brian of Rogers and Kachia Ellen Phillips of Fayetteville; a son, Justin Charles Phillips and his wife Martha of Fayetteville; his precious step-mother, Carolyn Watson; three sisters, Sarah Jane Goss and her husband Bobby of Mountain Home, Jackie Smith and her husband Charlie of Mountain Home and Mary Lou Lusk and her husband John of Houston, TX; five grandchildren; three beloved nieces and three nephews.
A visitation will be held noon – 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26 at Moore’s Chapel followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. at Moore’s Chapel and burial will be in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Goss, Charlie Smith, John Lusk, Bill Donnor, John Richards, Brian Palmer and Dana Watson.
