Stephen F. 'Pete' Sherrill's Obituary
Stephen F. (Pete) Sherrill, 67 of Springdale, AR passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born July 2, 1942 in Hot Springs, AR to William Roy Sherrill and Rachel Evelyn (Short) Sherrill.
He was retired from The Veteran’s Administration Hospital and after retirement continued to volunteer his time at the hospital. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William J. P. Sherrill and a sister, Lillian Piner.
He is survived by sons; Stephen A. Sherrill and daughter-in-law Yulonda Sherrill of Springdale, AR, Mike Griffith of Hot Springs, AR, one daughter; Stevie Sherrill of Dallas, TX, one brother; Pat Sherrill of Hot Springs, AR, five sisters; Wendy Sherrill of Waco, TX, Judy Sherrill of Stephenville, TX, Marty Sherrill Davasher of Hot Springs, AR, Jackie Bull of Hot Springs, AR, Susan Sherrill of Hot Springs, AR, and two grandchildren; Cassie Sherrill and Clay Sherrill both of Springdale, AR.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Tranquil Cemetery on South Higdon Ferry Road in Hot Springs, AR.
