Steven Wayne Vaughan's Obituary
Steven Wayne Vaughan, age 61, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on November 27, 2025, in Fayetteville. He was born on April 28, 1964, in Springdale, Arkansas, to Kenneth Vaughan and Judith (Freeman) Clark. Steven graduated from Springdale High School and worked as a master electrician. He married Sharon Ward Strode on July 5, 2008, in Fayetteville. Steven was a devoted Christian and loved the Lord with all his heart. Steven loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He enjoyed watching the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Washington Redskins. Steven enjoyed getting to spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Vaughan; his mother, Judith Clark; and stepfather, Rick Clark.
Steven is survived by his wife, Sharon Vaughan; children, Sarah McBryde and husband Drew of Fayetteville, Andrea Vaughan of Fayetteville, Erica Vaughan and life partner Tyler of Pettigrew, Arkansas, Michelle Sherwin of West Fork, Arkansas, Jason Strode and wife Sylvia of Elkins, Arkansas, Cynthia Farmer and husband Timmy of Winslow, Arkansas, and Charlo Strode of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Alex, Nathan, Felicity, Jesse, Sophie, Everette, Elizabeth, Leo, Olivia, Lauren (Jackson), Jake, Nathan, Leah (Ryan), Timmy (Allison), Gracie (Kendall), Jeremy, and one on the way; great grandchildren, Maverick, Garrett, Abigail, Lyla, and one on the way; siblings, James Vaughan, Sharon Carter, Jeremy Vaughan, and Jessie Jones; step brothers, Randy Soueng, Chris Soueng, and Erik Soueng; and step mother, Ronda Vaughan.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
