Susan K. Robinson's Obituary
Susan Karen Robinson, 71, went to her eternal home on August 7, 2013.
Born on July 29, 1942, in Garretson, South Dakota, Susan was a beautiful and vivacious woman who loved the Lord, books, travel, movies, and teaching. As a popular and gifted ESL teacher, “Maestra” made it her life’s work to help immigrants learn English and gain their citizenship. She cherished her time in the Peace Corps serving villagers of the Dominican Republic, and considered her visit to China a highlight of her life.
Susan is survived by her children, Christine Ann Silano, Michele Marie Allen, and Peter Frank Cornelius Fenderson; her grandchildren Sophie Michele Matto, Benjamin Anthony Griffith, Dante Alfredo Silano, Carmine Matteo Silano, Tanner Jordan Fenderson, and Brichele Diane Allen; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan James Matto, and Aurora Oceana Matto.
No services are planned at this time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home & Memorial Crematory, Fayetteville, Arkansas.
