Erin Sewell
I live one street over from where Miss Susie lived in Fayetteville, (on chapel view drive)
. I have been wondering what happened to her, as I have missed seeing her the past couple of years when I would go out walking my dogs.
The first time I was walking across the empty lot that connected our street with hers, she met me and told me that the land I was walking belonged to her, so I asked her permission to continue to cross it, and she graciously allowed me to! She would be out walking almost every day and I learned more about her and her family. I told her I had named Chapel View Dr. because of its close proximity to Son’s Chapel, and she told me of her family’s history with the Chapel and how she loved to be involved with the quilting organization there. She was so very interesting, so gracious and kind, and I really looked forward to seeing her on our walks. We have really missed her. May she rest in peace. The Sewell Family
