Susan was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She was a ray of sunshine at Metroplex and I'm so glad that I had a chance to work with her and to know her. My condolences to her family.
How sad I was to hear of Susan's passing, she was such an inspiration to us all at the hospital. Just to see her smiling face made my day. My prayers are with you. God Bless you all.

We were so saddened when we heard of Susan's passing. We knew she was sick, but always knew she would conquer it. She has, but in a different way.
Tim and I will always treasure some special memories of Susan and you both. For Kathleen, it was the best two years team teaching Pre-K at HH Elementary. We always had fun with the kids, shared the work and were able to laugh at the little bumps in the day; like the days when Colton from the tattoo parlor would try to communicate with the other end of the school at the top of his lungs for hours on end. Afterward, especially when Jann and Tim were TDY in Korea, there were those escape dinners with John and Amanda at O'Phelan's.
We hope these and other memories of such a special person help you both commemorate Susan's rewarding life, one that lacked only the fullness of time.

Susan was a wonderful friend to have. I was in on her interview for a kindergarten position when she moved to Killeen. She became my daughter's teacher and we became fast friends. She loved her family and was always caring for them. I had a lot of respect for her as a person and a co worker. She will be sorely missed.

I briefly worked with Susan as a volunteer at MetroPlex Hospital in Killeen , Tx. I've never met a more beautiful soul that came wrapped up in a wonderful person. Susan you will be missed. My prayers are with your family.
