Ted Mark Phillips' Obituary
Ted Phillips was born in Gould, Arkansas October 30, 1928 and passed away July 12, 2024. Preceded in death by father Hubbard D Phillips; mother, Tommie Sue Sawyer Phillips Abbott; brother, Hubbard D Phillips Jr; a sister, Wilma Curnutt and wife, Jean M Phillips.
Graduate of University of Arkansas; member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. A lifelong fan and supporter of the Arkansas Razorbacks. A disabled veteran of the Korean War.
Survived by daughter, Jean Austin; grandsons Trevor Austin and Shane Austin; nephews David H Phillips, Claud Patrick Phillips, Layne Curnutt, and niece Janice Ann Funk; grand-nephews Mark Funk, Christopher Phillips and grand-nieces Ashley Phillips and Anna Thompson and the neighbors and their children he adored in the Rolling Hills area.
Graveside service will be on Thursday, July 18th, at 11:30AM at Fayetteville National Cemetery under the direction of Moore’s Chapel.
