Teri Beth Eklund's Obituary
Teri Beth Eklund, 58, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away on July 9, 2025, in Fayetteville after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Born on March 16, 1967, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Dennie and Wanda Snow, Teri dedicated her life to her Christian faith. She retired from Vandergriff Elementary in Fayetteville after 30 years as a beloved first-grade teacher. Teri lived out her faith each day and was a joyful witness for Christ to everyone she met. Cherished by students, colleagues, friends, and family, she radiated love, warmth, and laughter.
Teri was a member of Cross Church Fayetteville and a devoted Razorback fan—especially when it came to baseball.
She is survived by her husband, Troy; her daughter, Maci Beth Williams, and son-in-law, Josh, of Fayetteville; her parents, Dennie and Wanda Snow of Bentonville; and her sisters, Tami Gray (Darin) and Traci Poland (Christopher), both of Bentonville. She was a treasured aunt to Caleb Gray of Columbus, Ohio; Joshua Poland of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and Abbi Poland Fogle of Topeka, Kansas. Teri also found immense joy in being “Sweet T” to her cherished grandson, Tate Joshua Williams.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 14, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Fellowship Bible Church in Fayetteville.
A celebration of Teri’s life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, at Fellowship Bible Church, with Pastor Jonathan Beasley officiating. Because Teri brightened the lives of all who knew her, guests are encouraged to wear bright colors in her honor.
