Terry Craig Foringer's Obituary
Mr. Terry Craig Foringer, 66 of Springdale, AR passed away Thursday, September 28, 2006 in Springdale, AR. He was born March 8, 1940 in Stanford, TX to Richard D. and Evelyn Ann (Bushnell) Foringer.
He grew up in Fayetteville and graduated from Ft. Smith High School where he was a great track and football athlete. His track career included two state records. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University and coached several years before beginning a career in sales. He was employed with Acme Janitorial Supply Company and was a member of Springdale First Baptist Church.
He enjoyed golfing, gardening, and was an avid fan of both football and track, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Joy A. Foringer, two sons, Cory A. Foringer of Springdale, AR, Craig A. Foringer of Fayetteville, AR, one daughter, Kim A. Magness of Springdale, AR, one sister, Melinda Elgin of Springdale, AR, and three grandchildren, Jeremy D. Magness, Brianna Joy Magness, and Christopher Coy Magness all of Springdale, AR.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 2, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 3, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Springdale, AR with Reverend Joe Dorman officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Pallbearers will be Duke Robnett, Larry Phillips, Ellis Trumbo, Fred Barnhill, Jarrell Williams, Tex Holt, Rex Bailey, Bobby Hudgens.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Henson, Carl "Curly" Combs, Phil Hanby, Graeme Charlton, Truman Brewer, Gene Watson, Tom Cunningham, Ronnie Baker, Dean Hutchinson.
