Terry Galen Modica's Obituary
Terry Galen Modica, age 58, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019, at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville. He was born on December 16, 1960, in Parsons, Kansas, to Mike and Silva (McDaniel) Modica. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother-in-law, Mike Ryan.
Terry had a heart for the Lord and was first and foremost a devoted family man. He had a love of the outdoors where you could often find him hunting, fishing, exploring backroads and creeks, or even gardening. He was a proud teacher of a conceal and carry class. Terry had a passion for motorcycles and loved his Harley. All who knew Terry knew that he was a prankster with a fantastic sense of humor. One was bound to hear “Boo!” or “Gotcha!” when rounding the corner at home. He and Donna had a special bond and he would lovingly tell her that he woke up each morning just so he could make her happy and put a smile on her face.
He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Donna (Brewer) Modica; five children, Summer Reist, Wes Modica, Brittany Hutson, Lyndi Fayhee and husband Brian, and Grayson Hutson and wife Amber; twin brother, Jerry Modica and wife Marce; two sisters, Diane McAtee and husband Jim, and Linda Ryan; six grandchildren, Angelina, Sevven, Carter, Sawyer, Riley Ann and Sully; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00am on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Moore’s Chapel Funeral Home in Fayetteville with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am. Interment will follow immediately at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
