Thelma Jean DiMaggio's Obituary
Thelma Jean DiMaggio, age 100, of Centerton passed away Tuesday April 1, 2025, in Bella Vista. She was born December 10, 1924 in Ellis County, Oklahoma the daughter of Albert and Cathrine Hoyt McNutt. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband who passed away in 1972 while on vacation in Rome, two sons and five siblings one being her twin.
She worked in the jewelry department at store #100 for Walmart for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, one sister, and numerous other family members.
Jean was a spicy lady. Full of life up to the very end. She loved good food, dancing, being doted on, old movies, and people. Jean was a content, classy lady. Jean moved to California at the age of 16 where she resided until 1991 when she returned to Arkansas. Making her way through life mostly on her own. She was a very hard worker. Working the telephone switchboard in her early years, managing property, cleaning houses, and in her 80’s working at Wal-Mart. After she retired from Wal-Mart, she would often remark “I just got lazy”. All that knew Jean loved her and loved her life stories.
