Theta Jo Mitchell's Obituary
Theta Jo Mitchell, 74, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday morning, March 26, 2024 in Edgewood Health & Rehab Nursing Home. She was born June 8, 1949 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She enjoyed playing Crazy 8 (card game), almost always winning. She loved to watch sports, and particularly enjoyed watching the Razorbacks. She enjoyed collecting baseball cards, playing her Atari and bowling. She also enjoyed working puzzles and coloring. She most definitely loved her cats and dogs as she was growing up.
Theta Jo is survived by her brother, Roger D. Mitchell of Fayetteville, AR and several nieces and nephews.
Theta Jo was preceded in death by her parents, Alva “Jack” Mitchell (passed in 2003) and Wynona E. Hoskins Mitchell (passed in 2005) and brother, Alva “Raye” Mitchell, Sr. (passed in 1997).
A visitation will be held on Tuesday April 2, 2024 from 5 - 6:30 PM the funeral service will be on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at 10 AM both will be at Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Elkins, Arkansas.
