Tom was a cherished friend for over 60 years, from Junior High to senior citizen and I will always smile when I think of our times together.
My dear friend, with that ever-present twinkle in his eye and that mischievous grin, was at the center of it all. Tom was always armed with an endless supply of stories that could make even the most stoic among us burst into laughter. His sense of humor was a constant, always ready with a joke to lift our spirits or a kind word to offer support. His positive outlook on life was something I admired deeply; a reminder that even in the face of challenges, there’s always a reason to smile.
Tom was at the forefront of planning annual mini-reunions with other classmates and I feel privileged to have shared some of those times with him. Whether it was zip lining in Missouri, riding Slingshots in the Smoky Mountains of just enjoying a relaxing cruise on the lake in Arkansas, Tom had a way of turning even the simplest moments into cherished memories with his friends.
As I reflect back over the past 60 plus years, I realize how much his friendship has meant to me. The laughter, the camaraderie, and the countless memories he created will always hold a special place in my heart. His spirit lives on in the stories we share and the smiles we continue to exchange, carrying forward his legacy of joy and friendship.
