Thomas F. Fixmer, Fayetteville, AR, formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma died Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale, AR. Born July 2, 1935, he spent most of his life in Tulsa and Bixby, Oklahoma, retiring to Read Obituary
He was a loving cousin with whom I had many wonderful experiences while we were growing up in Tulsa. He had a great sense of humor and many friends. I and they will miss him greatly.
He was a life-long firm believer in God, and he looked forward to the afterlife, where he would meet his parents, daughter, and friends who preceded him. I hope fervently that he has been reunited with them.

We were deeply daddened to learn of Tom's passing. Had no idea that he was in such failing health. Please accept our condolences. Sara, how are you doing. We know you also had some difficult medical problems to overcome.

It has been a true joy to know Tom and the Fixmer family for the last 30 years! Our family's are forever intertwined in a unique way and Tom was always at the forefront of it all. Tom's memory will always live on in our family.

Tom is very well remembered by both Darbi and I. Tom IS a good friend and would always stop and visit. He loved our children and they loved him. He is still a wonderful man and good friend waiting for us.
I became acquainted with Tom when I was with Avis Rent A Car Reservation Center back in the 70s. Tom was in charge of the catering service we enlisted for the employees. I have fond memories of many discussions with Tom when he would visit our office in line with his professional duties. Tom always projected strong ethical, moral and spiritual qualities always standing high above the crowd. I always had great admiration for Tom and his rare qualities. Certainly, he has a special place reserved for him in our Lord's house and future eternal plans.

We saw Tom's picture and obitutary in the Tulsa World and were sorry to learn of his passing. It has been many years since we saw you but we fondly remember you both. We extend our deepest sympathy and please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
