Sasha Mayo
I will miss Tom very much. He was my favorite customer of all time. Tom was more than a customer, he was a friend. He was always quick to share a funny story or a kind word. I always had a good day if I saw him. Tom would always marvel at how I knew he was in the building, I always saw him before he saw me. As per usual, I would run up to him and ask him if I could help. He always said (in that voice/accent I can hear as I am typing this, thru tears) "Sasha, how do you always know I am here?" I never knew how to answer him then. I would like to think that he will always be "here" with me now. Tom if you are out there, I know you are here, and I always will. I remember his stories about his brother Gregory Ronan Gill among countless others that illustrated a rich and full past. He sent me a thank you card once (a thank you for a thank you! HA!) and it said, that his desk was always a mess, but my thank you card was somewhere there in the mess and when he would come across it, he would think of me and smile. I am thinking of you and smiling today Mr. Gill. We will take care of Elena just like you always asked. I will keep the picture he gave me of himself and Elena proudly displayed on my desk, right beside the nesting doll Elena gave me. What a special man. Thank you for all of your kindness. We will miss you!!!!
