Thomas Linthicum's Obituary
Thomas "Tom" Linthicum, 77, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, died Friday, September 15, 2006 in Fayetteville. He was born October 8, 1928 in Parker County, Texas, the son of Thomas Leonard and Lillie Caraway Linthicum. He was as graduate of the FBI National Academy. He served in law enforcement for over 40 years. He retired from the United States Marshal?s office in which he served as Chief Deputy over the states of Maine, Idaho, as well as the Eastern District of Virginia and Northern District of Texas. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy during WWII and he was a member of the Church of Christ faith.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Patricia Linthicum of the home, two daughters; Ginger Narmour of Ferrrum, Virginia, Christy Riggs of Fayetteville, Arkansas, one son; Tim Linthicum of Jenks, Oklahoma and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 19, 2006 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Burial will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, September 21, 2006 at the Tin Top Cemetery just south of Weatherford, Texas.
Visitation will be 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM, Monday, September 18, 2006.
