Thomas Russell (T.R.'s Obituary
Thomas Russell (T.R. Rusty) Marshall, Jr. 76 of Fayetteville, AR passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 in Fayetteville, AR. He was born June 7, 1939 in Houston, TX to Thomas Russell Marshall, Sr. and Alice (Reynolds) Marshall.
T.R. and family moved from New Orleans to Fayetteville in 1965, as owner/manager of Magazine Wholesaler. He was in the magazine business for over 40 years. He has been retired for 10 years. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, golfing, cooking and time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Nancy Strickland.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Carol Marshall, one daughter, Terri Marshall Cargile and husband David of Frisco, TX, two sons, Russ Marshall and wife Monique of Covington, KY, Ken Marshall and wife Denise of Atlanta, GA, ten grandchildren, Madison Cargile, Mason Cargile, Navarre Marshall, Michael Marshall, Carlos Marshall, Gabriel Marshall, Christopher Marshall, Jonathan Marshall, Matthew Marshall, Samuel Marshall.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th from 5:00 Pm until 7:00 PM at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, October 21st in the chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Pastor Red Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Regional Medical Center Foundation for the Pulmonary Exercise Center.
