Timothy G. Traxson's Obituary
Timothy G. Traxson, age 47, of Fayetteville, AR, passed from this life Tuesday, July 12, 2022. He was born January 17, 1975, in Newton, KS, a son of the late Steven Traxson and Rita Francis Elmer Traxson. Tim was a customer success manager for Broadcom and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Tim was raised in Rogers and was a graduate of the University of Arkansas. This is where he made many of his most cherished friendships and where he met Mitzi. He was an avid Razorback fan. He loved all the sports, but truly enjoyed attending football and baseball games and tailgating with his friends. He was active in Boy Scouts for many years with his son, Sam. He enjoyed the campouts and volunteering with the pack and of course the bonding time it created with Sam. He loved to spend time with Sam, whether through Scouts, bowling, Top Golf or watching basketball games. Being Sam’s dad brought him so much joy.
Tim enjoyed spending time with his brothers, Chris and Jason, and his friends that were like family to him. Whether it be traveling, watching sports, traveling to watch sports, or keeping up with their children (he was always the best at playing with the kids and keeping up with them through the years), Tim was up for it. Tim was funny, witty, kind, caring and leaves a giant hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Surviving is his son, Sam Traxson; his former spouse, Mitzi Traxson; his brothers, Jason Traxson and Chris Traxson.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Burial will follow in Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, AR. Visitation is from 4-6 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Nelson Berna Funeral Home. Memorial donations are preferred to Jackson L. Graves Foundation, P.O. Box 572, Fayetteville, AR, 72702-0572.
